Please take a moment and let me know if you want to help – in any way shape or form. I am taking a max of 25 people. Sign up now as people have already expressed interest on twitter. I will also be organizing the information about donating to this work group over the next week. You can truly make a difference – with your own hands. How? By typing a message here, by going and lending a hand, by praying. Whichever way you want to use your hands…please let me, the work team, the Dominicans and Haitians know. Stay tuned for more blog posts during the next few weeks.
For DC Area folks – I will probably end up having a a fundraiser locally – please post if you would like to help with that!
Thank you!

Katie,
Count me in! Quiero ayuda!!! Im going to work on starting some drop off locations for toys in the DC area.
I will be glad to help in whatever way you need. Here in the Dominican Republic our hearts are heavy and looking for ways to help the country so close to us.
Let me know what you want me to do…I cannot go but will help at this end. I’ll have the Silverliners bring something to the next meeting if you want. Are you going to take any goods with you?
I’m in…not sure how, but I’ll leave that up to God. Until then, I’m open to suggestions. I think you are pretty much a rockstar for your bigger, global vision that surpasses what we do with weddings & events. I follow you on Twitter and just came over to your blog after your tweet about needing more help. I have spent enough time reading your posts that I’m pretty sure you are going to be my new BFF. 🙂
Thankful for your compassionate heart.
Warmly,
Robyn

I’m in Katie! Let’s haul our bilingual butts over to DR and do everything we can to help. Let me know what I can do in terms of planning, and count me in for the trip. Eres un angel, amiga! xo
