We had such a beautiful wedding at the Hay-Adams Hotel a few weeks ago – I just love all the details and the decadent flower designs we did for Susannah and Matt’s wedding on the rooftop! Above is the gorgeous chuppah we designed for them with our reclaimed wood with curly willow branches, yellow peonies, orange garden roses, greenery, lavender lisianthus and green dendrobium accents.
Above are the bridal party flowers! The groom wore a green cymbidium orchid with a lavender lisianthus accent. The groomsman wore lisianthus. The mothers and the grandmothers held pretty white carnation pomanders. The bridal bouquet was gorgeous with rare yellow peonies, orange garden roses, lavender roses, hanging green amaranths, dusty miller, rosemary and green cymbidium orchids.
The cocktail hour started downstairs in the Hay room with the gorgeous rounded arrangement of orange roses, purple mini calla lilies with submerged green cymbidium orchids. The reception had several different types of arrangements. From low arrangements filled with garden roses, seeded eucalyptus, yellow peonies, fern curls, calla lilies and rosemary. Then we had four different tall arrangement (only 2 are shown above) – some had purple vanda orchids (shown), some had orange mokara ochids (shown), some had green dendrobium orchids and the last arrangement had yellow oncidium orchids.
We were so happy to be part of their gorgeous day with wedding planning and floral designs!
Congrats to Susannah and Matt!
Once we get the professional photos back – we will showcase more things!!!!
