I love it when an author sends me a book to review for my clients and our readers. This one is no exception! I love what Lorna Yee and Ali Basye did with this gorgeous cookbook. I am a huge fan of other people cooking for me – especially my husband – as I not much of a cook! There is always a huge sense of family and closeness when we cook for the ones we love! I checked out the baked goods section as I am more of a baker than a cook – and what they have – does not disappoint! This cookbook really does an excellent job of teaching you how to cook and eat together!
Now that I taken a look, savored the recipes with my own eyes – I am now ready to give this book away!

Hello! I am getting married January 8th 2010 in Washington D.C. My finace loves Italian food especially lasagna so my goal is to learn how to cook it well before we get married! I know this cook book would help me get off to a great start! =)
O my goodness – that is my birthday Carleigh!
Hello there! we haven’t quite set the date but we are looking for the fall of 2012, a nice long engagement!
The first thing we ever cooked together (really he cooked for me) was this incredible baked ziti but with goat cheese. it was this gooey tangy creamy heaven that we ate sitting on his bed (as he had no table in the apt) in the first weeks of getting to know one another. Every time we make it now it bring us right back to the beginning, to that excitement of falling in love. For us food has become a part of our relationship, when we actually have time to cook and sit down with each other, each meal is like a love letter. We are always trying to find new recipes to try new things. It “spices” things up! (please forgive the pun)
