We were absolutely honored to create this gorgeous installation for the new “The Kennedy Rose Garden, Traditionally American” exhibit at White House Historical Association’s Decatur House! The exhibit shares a glimpse into the makings of this historic and incredibly beautiful area of The White House grounds, which was designed by Rachel “Bunny” Mellon for the Kennedy family in 1962. The story of The Rose Garden is told through Bunny Mellon’s personal memory album (which was handmade by Jackie Kennedy), photographs and other artifacts.
It was so much fun to design something spectacular to welcome guests to the exhibit and to be a part of history!
You can read more about the amazing exhibit in this feature from The Washington Post and definitely stop by to see all of the history and beauty for yourself until September 12th!
